The way I’m imagining the autodoc’s voice is that (what I assume is) the routine spiel sounds fairly naturalistic and human, and then ‘Saffron’ is just jarringly computerised. It amuses me to imagine it glitching out and addressing everyone as [PATIENT NAME].
You are EXACTLY RIGHT on the voice. Honestly AI stuff has advanced so much since I came up with this scene that it’s now a lot less plausible than it used to be, but that’s the curse of sci-fi.
